Subject: I left for these very reasons. They have completely shattered my love for Irish dancing. I keep an eye on things out of habit but I've lost all enthusiasm for it. Passing my TCRG was the proudest moment of my life.

Replies:

  • An exam is there to test the persons knowledge and understanding of a subject. NOT to recite a book word for word and penalise for using link arms and hook arms as two different things. (NT) -- An absolute joke of an exam!, 08:12:36 01/14/25 Tue
  • Farcical separate exam section for ceili teaching vs written! Know one teacher who scored high marks on teaching but given failing mark on written ceili exam. how do you judge someone competent to TEACH but fail them in memorization of the same material? Should their ability to teach the dances not be weighed higher than rote memorization? (NT) -- Priorities out of order, 09:22:25 01/14/25 Tue
