I believe people are more accepting of the ban because of the existence of an appeals policy. But at the same time, I’ve seen really legitimate cases here where a ban is harmful to a dancer (e.g. a military family who moves regularly might have to serve a ban every 2 years).

Is the appeals process legitimate? If it was, what are the examples of who doesn’t need to serve it? If no one has ever successfully appealed, then there isn't really an appeals policy.
