Our studio requires 2 gold medals per dance. Some PW dancers are stronger in one shoe. My
Kid was strong soft but struggled with HS timing. She had loads of reel and SJ first places but it took a long time to earn her HS ones. By the time she did she was ready for PC. Nothing worse than getting to PC and placing last all the time because you weren’t ready to be there. If you can’t win in PW you won’t place in Prelims.
