It cannot be our task to "destroy." Our goal should be to help the current members open their eyes and repent, and to inform the public about the dangers and true nature of the current, unrepentent UBF.

I would agree with that. The power of God is one of mending and healing, not one of dividing and destroying.
In the end, everything will be destroyed when the Old Heaven and the Old Earth shall pass away.
But the Lord will not tell people to destroy something, the destruction will be caused by Satan. Satan is God's tool in doing away with the Fallen Creation. Not we.

We should be followers of Jesus, those that show people truth and light, bringing them to repentance.
I am most certain that if all UBF leaders and members were to gain a full awareness of what the UBF system actually is, and each one would recant of their abominable share in this corruption, then the UBF that we now know would cease to exist.
But I am as certain that their hearts are so hardened that this will not happen.
It would be glorious, though, because then UBF might actually become a healthy ministry. But I'm afraid they've burned too many bridges, sunk too many costs and shot too many wounded in their wake to ever let this happen.
