Your posts touch on one very important problem with UBF: UBF is a very LEGALISTIC. They love to turn Jesus into Moses. So Jesus got up early in the morning to pray. UBF says, OK, now everybody must wake up at 6am in the morning for "daily bread". And if you don't attend you are 'unspiritual', or rebuked for being 'easy going'. Everything Jesus does becomes a legalistic rule in UBF. This is very deceptive to new people like "SM/Christian Man" because (as Paul said) it has the appearance of rightouessness but in the end has no power to restrain the sinful nature. Not only that but it makes people self-rightouess and spiritually blind. This is one reason(among many)that many UBF leaders have become corrupt.
