I don't feel good talking about somebody kind of "behind his back," but I think he was a kind of person of public interest in UBF and it is legitimate to know what became out of him. I had to visit the USA at the occasion of a MSU conference (1996 I think) and he was of course told to show us the Johns Hopkins university and invite us for dinner. I think the Koreans treated him like a figurehead. Anyway, from all persons I met at the conference and later, he impressed me most, because he was not only intelligent and bright, but also a very nice person. So he contributed to my decision to stay in UBF. Most people of this "nice" kind who made me believe UBF is a club of nice fellows have meanwhile left. Germany UBF had Andreas O. in Cologne who was very similar to Rimas. Both were also very similar in that they left UBF with a clear mind, understood where the problems were, but did not publicly attack UBF after leaving, and simply went on with their lives. Maybe they were spiritually more mature than we are, but maybe they only did not want to have all the trouble and thought it was detrimental to their career and a waste of time. I personally think such people should show more responsibility and help others to see through the scam that UBF is.
