And it is still true today.

Just so there is no confusion, I was baptized with real water. At the time I was hesitant because of my Catholic background. But Dr.Paul told me even Jesus was baptized by John. I see now that it was God's wisdom to be baptized publically, so that as a spiritual leader, no one can use that against me.

Also, I have participated in real communion, using bread and grape juice. Toledo UBF celebrates communion and baptism. Again, though, it is not done weekly or haphazzardly.

Just so there is no confusion. I do not think that all other churches are bad. UBF is only one ministry in the entire body of Christ. I know there are good churches. However, Christianity in America does tend toward the superficial. Here's an interesting article about superficial Christianity:
