Subject: Barry's misapplication of Luke 19:13
In reply to: Brother in Christ 's message, "Re: New thread on doctrine" on 09:23:05 10/25/04 Mon

In a 2002 letter, Barry abuses the meaning of Luke 19:13 (parable of the talents) by applying it to Sam Lee's sole control of UBF offering income for decades.

She looks at Luke 19:13 and thinks it can be applied to the use (actually hoarding) of offering money.

The funny thing is, if Luke 19:13 could actually be applied to Sam Lee's admitted hoarding of offering money, then Sam Lee could rightly be compared to the wicked servant who buried his talents in the ground.
