Despite you believing I have such Blind Hatred for Bush, Cheney, and their gang--it's not that I hate them, it's I hate WHAT they've done and I'm Angry that they tried to change our whole way of life and laws to suit their own selfish Neo-Con desires.
I AM ANGRY!
I am angry that Bush took advantage of us right after September 11, 2001 and tried to warp and twist his Neo-Con "Project for the New American Century" agenda into the basis for the US Government, by way of the Homeland (God, how I HATE that word!) Security Agency and the US Patriot Act.
I am angry that Bush chose to ignore the Geneva Convention Law that has been in effect since the end of WWII; by turning the US laws around to try and 'justify' his 'enhanced interrogation' methods. Just a bunch of 'tough cowboy diplomacy' tactics that made us about the most hated country on earth, until January 20th, 2009.
I am angry that Bush DELIBERATELY LIED us into a war with Iraq. And for what? No WMDs, no links of Saddam Hussein to Al Quaida. What the hell was this war supposed to be about? Wait, don't tell me--the Neo-Con agenda of spreading Democracy in the Middle East (at the end of a gun). As I recall, the Taliban was pretty much sunk in Afghanistan after a few years of US and the NATO troops kicking them out of the big cities, but THEN Bush took his 'eye off the ball' and just turned our troops around and sent them to Iraq. NOW the Taliban are growing stronger, and even trying to get into Pakistan through the mountains that separate Pakistan and Afghanistan. If we had STAYED in Afghanistan I bet the Taliban would be just a Bad Dream that happened but is now Over and gone from Afghanistan for good.
And I am angry about ALL the DEATHS of our beloved US troops and Innocent Iraqis that have died for Bush's 'Democracy at the end of a gun' Neo-Con dream-turned-to-nightmare. Are you mad or angry about this, Obitchecker, or do you justify all those DEATHS as 'collateral damage' of the 'war on terror'(which, by the by, CAN NEVER be won, because terror is NOT a person or a place--it is an IDEA that cannot be discovered until the person who believes in it ACTS, by killing, suicide bombing, or by just advocating its use).
What say you, Obitchecker?
