Arienne wandered along the numerous shelves until she reached a section that seemed to have books all about Aes Sedai and Asha'man.

Flicking through the books at random, she realised that she had been taught a lot of this stuff already. Still, it was more interesting than the rise and fall of the Great Pricipian Nation (which covered an area slightly larger than the city of Baerlon...).

Opening a book that was so old the title was rubbed off, a piece of paper fluttered to the floor. Arienne stooped to pick it up, afraid the pages from the book were falling apart, but when she looked at it she realised that it wasn't old at all. Putting the book back on the shelf, Arienne turned the paper over curiously. It was folded into three but not sealed. Opening it up, Arienne was suprised at what she read.

The answer is not here, but in its twin. We must penetrate the Tower and discover the final piece. M's men are on our tail, so I must take the risk of being more plain. I will travel to the Tower. Follow me.

Arienne's eyes widened. Was the Tower the Astral Tower? Or was there some other Tower that held the answer to what they sought? Probably it was some old Cairhien plot that she had stumbled across. Cairhien really was an exciting place! All those histories...

Arienne shook her head, but looked up suddenly when Pallaryn came down the aisle for her.

"Come on! Isayah's ready to leave. She's found what she wanted and is rounding everyone up."

"Alright! Did you find anything interesting Ryn?" Arienne asked, tucking her arm in her step-sister's and leaving the library.
