Dark blue male watched as his Necromancer brother comforted Sharess. He glared slightly, a little hurt that she hadn't come to him when in emotional pain. He may be a little cold, but he would have thought she'd understand. A soft growl rumbled in his throat again, but was cut short when his older brother spoke to him. He nodded, for he had seen what was going on in Lavamis in more detail than any other here could have. It was almost as if he were there. Sighing softly, he linked his mind to his brother's, ignoring the fact that his father was trying to get their mother's soul released. Venorik saw it more as Raistlin felt he had to do it than that he wanted to do it. That made him just as big of a pain as before.

He's trying, but I don't think Firez will ever agree.

At least it didn't seem so at this point. Apparently the God wasn't finished punishing their mother yet. He wanted to continue to cause her pain even in death. That angered Venorik nearly as much as the fact that if Raistlin had bothered to actually love their mother maybe it wouldn't be quite so painful for her to go on after her death. At least she would've known he loved her. But instead her soul would be continuing on only to remember him holding Takhisis in his arms while Fate herself was dying after giving birth to Raistlin's children...
