When the nurse came in to take her back into the room she shook her head, holding out her hand to keep the nurse out of the bathroom. "I can't..please, I can't go back out there..I just need a minute.." She spoke through broken sobs, her head tipped back against the wall as she nurse left the bathroom to go check on Quin, wise enough to leave the woman alone to collect herself. Her mind played back through what the doctor had told her when she came in. The accident was very severe, Mrs. McAlistar, we are going to do the best we can but I am going to prepare you now, the outcome doesn't look good. His car was torn in half, to give you an idea of the severity of the accident, the back of was smashed nearly flat. He has many internal injuries such as a punctured lung and a ruptured spleen and those are only what we have found so far. There's possible brain damage but we won't know anything further about that until we get him stablized. He had opened his mouth to tell her more after that but she had sunk to her knee's at that moment and he had just helped her to the bench and had her sit down to try and calm herself. Thinking about those words, the few details she had got, had her leaning over the toilet again, heaving.
