She nodded at Quin's words, heading over to the bench where Karlie was and settling down, letting go of Shay as the girl moved into Quin's arms as soon as he sat down. She gazed over at the two of them blankly for a moment before she looked up as the doctor came in, letting out a soft breath at the serious look on his face. Her boy had to be ok there was no way he was anything but ok. He cleared his throat lightly. "Your the McAlistar family, correct?" He questioned before he spoke. "Nick is out of surgery for the time being and in the ICU. We were able to repair all the internal injuries to the best of our ability. Our biggest obstacle is that as of yet he hasn't regained consciousness and we are now playing the waiting game. We can't tell if there is any brain damage until he awakens...
