Charlie waited with the same bated breath he saw Aly holding while they waited for the doctor's response and breathed out a slow, long, relieved breath before rising to shake the doctor's hand and thank him as he left the room. Once he was gone, he approached the bed and smiled down at her, reaching to squeeze her hand. He was cautiously optomistic - he knew she was still in some pain, but the reality of the baby surviving made his heart flutter. "That's good.. I knew you were strong."
