He opens a weary greenish-brown eye. His head was laid heavily on his forepaws, his tail around his hips. The deep scars on his right shoulder were bright red, as if they had been irritated.
~I've been seperated from my sister for over a week. I've traveled over 300 miles with no food and no sleep trying to find her. I'm so worried about her, but I just can't get back to my paws.~
He shut his eye.
~Just a little more sleep, and I should be okay...~
His husky voice faded as he fell into a troubled sleep. His body was shaking slightly, as if he was cold and his ears twitched every-now and then, still awake and listening.
