I only got one enema and I think I was between 4 and 7 years old. Strange that I don't know exactly how old I was because that one incident effected me for the rest of my life. It was the fifties and sometime during the day, with my brother and sister at school, my mom put me on the potty. When I couldn't go (and it must have been more than one day since I had) she asked me if I wanted an enema. Not knowing what it was, I said yes and she began to mix water and soap in my dad's shaving cup at the sink next to the toilet. Turning around, she poured it all into the red bag, attached the hose and lifted me off the toilet and across her lap as she sat on the edge of the tub. I think she used cold creme to lube and suddenly the nozzle was in and the water was flowing. I don't remember it hurting but I do remember kicking and screaming and telling her "that's enough, take it out" over and over. I don't even recall if she got much in or if it made me go -- just that it was a huge turn-on to think about in later years. To this day, in my 60's, even the word enema excites me. So strange! But the human mind is complex.

Mom was wise. She waited until the doc had left before she gave me an enema and she didn't tell me before.

She would tell me to get ready for a bath. Just after the tub was filled and I was naked, she marched in with a pan of soapy water. She put it in the sink and then got out the dreaded bulb. I was trapped. she put down the toilet lid and placed a towel over it. "you know what to do" was the only thing she said. My butt was soon over the towel with me laying there gripping the radiator for support.

She never said a word. Just fixed the bulb put the nozzle up my butt and squeezed. two bulbsful
