Has anyone discovered the beneficial use of enema for respiratory problems? There definitely is a connection between colon health and lung health. I have found that after an enema I don't need my inhaler nearly as much--sometimes for several days. I think a coffee enema is especially helpful.

Deere, I read in book Prescription For Nutritional Healing that giving herbal(s) enema does help.
Sorry forgot which herb to use.

Also, Kristina, at optimalhealthnetwork.com , also tells enemas helps.

Growing up in the late 50s I remember my aunt giving a bulb syringe enema to my cousin for respiratory problems.

I agree with you. There is a connection.

You have the respiratory issues now or one of your kids?

There is also, well studied and documented, a link between bad gut and the brain. Bad gut is condition when toddler to about 8 or so is moody, fussy, fighting, crying lots, irritable, etc.

Can read this on Mandy’s page at realfooddiscovery.

She talks about is it discipline or gut causing this behavior.

I remember an enema being given when the child was moody, fighting, crying for no reason, irritable.

My aunt was a nurse. I remember her giving my cousin an enema when he had such spells about him. At the time I didn’t know why it worked. Recently read the gut causes such behaviors.

Check with doctor before giving home remedies. Including the enema.

As a child I had asthma but was never given an enema for it. In my 80s I have trouble with a tight chest and have found that an enema helps control that so I don't need my inhaler as much.

Kristina has some information about enemas helping with asthma and other respiratory issues. Read her articles on OHN.

Late 70s here. Growing up the enema was given often. Giving pills and otc junk was hardly done.

Enemas were given for fever reduction, the constipated child, helping with colds and flu. Even if the mom felt one was needed.

The bulb syringe was used. Given on a table.

Did you also get enemas growing up?

Seeing you are little older than me, I’d think you also get enemas.

Blessings and hugs
