I don't remember what happened, but when I was 6 I got my fingers caught in an air rifle and had to go to the hospital for stitches. To this day, I am deathly afraid of hospitals, doctors, needles, etc. I would have panic attacks when ever I had to go. I have never stayed overnight in a hospital or had a complete physical.

I had a bad cut on my hand in my 20s, had to go to the hospital. I was so afraid of the anesthetic, I had them stitch my hand without any. In my 30s I was hanging out with some friends at my apartment, again a gash to my bicep.

My one friend was an EMT and said I needed to go to the hospital, and every one was agreeing with him. He said that as an EMT, if I did not go, he legally had to call EMS and they would force me to go. I agreed, but I told him I wanted a cup of tea to calm me down first. He even took my keys.

I put 3 screws in the stove under the tea pot. When no one was looking, I took needle nose pliers and used the screws to cauterize the wound. Bleeding stopped, and no reason to go.

Few years ago, mowing the grass, accident in front of the house. One car runs through my yard aiming for me. I could not get out of the way, so I jumped up, on the hood, rolling up the windshield and over the roof. Witnesses must hane that the car hit me and threw me.Knowing what would happen next, I crawled down my yard away from the commotion.

When EMS showed up, bystanders told the EMTs about me. They found me, I denied I was hit. They said that by law they had to check me out and I had to go to the hospital as a pedestrian victim of a MVS.

When I refused, they called a cop over who said he would arrest me if I refused. I asked him to verify the witness statements and get their names and info because I would be pressing charges for false imprisonment, battery, lying to police when the hospital says there was nothing wrong with me.

Everybody changed their story when he said he needed to verify their identities and take a formal statement. The EMTs watched me (from a distance) for an hour hoping I would pass out. I hobbled around for the next 2 weeks.

I have ADHD, diagnosed when I was 30. To receive the meds to control it, I have to see my doc twice a year and get a blood test once a year. My doc only checks my heart; colesterol, blood pressure, listens, etc.

When I go for my blood test, my GF always goes in with me, and holds my hand. She leads me in with my eyes closed so I don't see the needle. She has even holds my arm down (even though she is tiny). I get pasty white, and they always put the "pass out" bar across the chair.

Once over, it feels like I just finished running a marathon; sweaty, panting, tears in my eyes.

Around 7 or 8 y.o. I had chronic diarhea due to too many antibiotics that I was given. Every morning after going to the bathroom, mom would bring a small pot of potato starch solution , tell me to lie down on my left side, knees flexed and after lubibg the short white nozzle of the white syringe bulbshe would slowly inject the starch enema into me. Then, I really wanted to expel the enema but was not allowed to. So I hated those enemas which I was forced to receive daily. But, even worse, the feeling of the short nozzle tip moving inside as the bulb was squeezed and the thick, warm enema flowing into me eventually caused me to start having erections as I lay receiving the enema . The pj and position of my leg hid them, Only later did I find out why the enemas I was forced to receive caused me pleasureable sensations and I have given myself different enemas ever since.
