From 5 until about 10, Mom used a bulb for my soapsuds enemas and the bag for plain water rinse enemas. She liked using the bulb for the SSEs so that she could quickly squirt the soapy water into me. She liked the bag for rinses and made me take as much as I could hold, so those enemas were also a volume kind of thing. By the time I was 8, I could hold a full two quarts! Of course, Mom encouraged these high volume enemas and I loved being praised for being able to hold so much volume, as well as for the required length of time.
