In reply to: Shelly 's message, "deep rectal nozzle" on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, 03:52: pm

Shelly,

Thanks for the info on your nozzle. I notice that it is available on Amazon.com. That should make it easy for others who view this forum to get one. The Amazon price appears to be lower than enemasupply.com.

I am a single mom with one adult daughter who has moved away to college. No grand-kids yet. I used a regular douche nozzle for her enemas when she was a kid/teen. I modified it to give it some curvature as I have posted elsewhere on Voy so that I could insert it 2-3 inches beyond its regular length. I currently use a 20 inch colon tube that I bought years ago for my own enemas.

Joyce, thanks for leaving comment.
I never used the douche nozzle for enemas.

When you gave the enemas, with the douche nozzle, did you use a bulb or bag?

I recently found a large douche bulb with a straight nozzle. I may buy it and try it.

Growing up enemas were common in our home and in other homes.
The only enema I remember was the bulb syringe enema. Given on a table.

Saw a mom giving a warm soapy enema with the bulb syringe. My friends younger brother was getting syringed by her on the kitchen table. On his back . On a towel.

Her mom didn’t care if we saw or not. She didn’t run us out of the kitchen.
Hugs
