Kitten Paw I think I've got it. I had two choices but I'm trying to think how you think if this is a riddle that you just made up or if it is from personal experience. I'm thinking you or your girly type friend have had an experience of such. So here goes. The 8 year old keeps her toothbrush in her bedroom because she has made an incredible discovery about the electric toothbrush that she doesn't think anyone else has figured out. Did I win? ;)

That was too easy! Yes you scored twice. I don't have any brothers or sisters. My BFF has a sister and she didn't think anybody knew why she kept her electric toothbrush in her bedroom. TMI, BFF has an industrial model now and it is hidden in her bedroom. At least she thinks it is hidden. Moms know everything and do clandestine searches some times. She says she is going to give me one for Christmas. I said don't you dare if my dad finds it I'm toast.

I am panicking! Dad is still trying to punish me for wanting to be smooth down there. He made mom schedule me for a 'complete physical' at a women's clinic. I googled it and it is a obstetrics and gynecology clinic with one old looking Dr. and a young male physician assistant. I don't like the looks of either one of them. They look like creeps! I told mom I'm not sexually active so I don't have to have a pelvic exam. She said sorry, most Doctor's recommend first pelvic by the time you are 13 or 15 regardless. I read all the questions they ask you the first time the see you and the things they do to you. I'm freaking out! On the 8th right after school.

Relax!! 99 percent of us girls hated our first pelvic exam. There isn't a lot about it that will be fun. But I do urge you to right down on paper at least 10 questions for you to ask. No matter how trivial you think they are. Do you think your labia minora or majora don't look like other girl's? Ask him about it. Do you have wetness, dryness, itching from underwear? Are you getting ingrown hairs that look like little pimples from shaving closely? Do you have rectal pain with your periods? Don't be afraid to ask him about hints about masturbation. He knows you masturbate because 99 percent of 15 year olds do. Do you pee a little when you orgasm. A lot of girls do. 10 questions about topics you want to ask him. You then feel like you have some control because you are right he is going to ask you questions you have never been asked about everything between your legs as a female. Use this opportunity to get informed about some things you maybe don't understand.

I knew from research before I went that there was such a thing as recto-vaginal as part of the exam. Not all exams include that but just in case I was going to get it I was horrified that he might feel stool inside me. So I had a bowel movement before I went. It was a lot of work. Ended up using a carved pieced of soap as a suppository because our house had no suppositories or enemas. But I did not want him feeling stool inside me. Just a suggestion!

Okay. I'm just scared because I've never been naked with a boy and now I have to be naked with some strange guy that looks creepy to me. I'm sure dad is proud of himself that he is going to make me do that and let him see that I shave myself smooth. A lot of girls do. It's not like he has never had a girl to examine that does. Plus I broke my hymen when I was 11. I didn't know I shouldn't experiment with a carrot to see what a tampon would feel like. I didn't know I had a hymen. The key word is HAD! I'm going to get even. I'm going to tell him I get corner time with pants down and then a spanking while standing there and then he makes my mom give me a huge enema. I'm going to write it all down on a piece of paper so if I get scared to tell him I'll just hand him the piece of paper. If I have to go in for a pelvic exam to give him satisfaction then I want the punishment enemas to stop. I get enough enemas from mom that I don't like but tolerate because my mom keeps me healthy that way.

Oooh Kitten Paw! Are you still there? Let's talk. I'm not sure you want to share with a gyno that you get spankings and unwanted enemas. You are 15 years old. You are a dependent child. Your mom is a Registered Nurse at a clinic where they promote enemas for a lot of pooping issues in dependent children. It is not against the law for your Dad to spank you as long as he does not injure you. You say he only makes your buttocks pink. No bruising. This exam should be a positive explorative exam to make sure all your parts and pieces are normal and functioning correctly. There are a lot of things he can check that may not be causing you problems now but that if not treated could be trouble in just months or a few years to come. There are numerous malformations of your organs and female genitalia that he needs to check out for you to make sure everything is okay. You are just going to go home to a very angry Dad if you tell gyno what you are planning.

I just don't want to go! I'm not going to tell him anything. I'm just scared! I'm just venting, wishing I had the courage to tell mom I'm not going. I'm not naked with any boys and I'm not going.

Well you are going. Think of the kids you help mom give enemas to that are so scared when they see you in the bathroom with them with the enema bag filled with water that you are going to put in their butts. They are terrified, traumatized, but they need that enema and they get it. It's about 50 50 whether medical experts think you need your first pelvic exam around 13 to 15 years of age. It' okay to be scared. I was terrified but I lived through it. Your little enema patients are terrified but they get their enemas anyway. You helped me so much in understanding the fears my sitter has in having to come to me for intervention with her holding in her poop. You will be just fine. You will get through it.

Let's be real - pelvic exams are never enjoyable.

Andrea, I don't know what your family was like but did you have to try and conceal/obscure the evidence that you'd taken the soap suppository (as distinkt from letting your mum do you with the soap) ?

Sue,

I didn't even know if I had stool in my bottom. No way I was going to stick my finger up there to find out. But I didn't want the Doctor to find stool so yeah the palmolive soap bar was already almost done so I carved it down with the metal nail file in the cupboard and wet it and stuck it up my butt and threw the rest away. I had remembered hearing a mom tell my mom about using soap sticks on her infant. And then about 10 minutes later I am panicking because nothing is happening. I'm thinking okay I don't know if I had stool in there but now I have a soap stick up my butt and he surely will find that. I was trying to find some sort plastic bottle or something I could do an enema with. I was freaking out. And then just as I figured I was about to die from fear my rectum said "hey girl is this a soap, well it don't belong here!" Whew!

Andrea - surely you know full well that a soap stick is meant to melt like a suppository - that's how it works.
