In reply to: Shelly 's message, "Re: "It's Just an Enema" say Shelly" on Saturday, April 26, 2025, 01:16: pm

I was not allowed in the bathroom with our daughter for her enemas. When my sister got here she asked me what was wrong with me. I was a basket case. She said I was so worked up I was going to scare our daughter more than her enema bag will.

We prepared the soapsuds enema and she told me to go sit down and calm myself down she's got this. She took her enema bag in the bathroom and went and got our daughter and I sat down in the living room.

I would have been able to hear if they made a commotion but I heard nothing. In less than 10 minutes she came out and said that daughter did an awesome job. There was a little fuss and some tears but she did fantastic.

I'm sitting there looking at her leg and it is soaking wet. She said "that is not enema water. She emptied her bladder as soon as she felt her warm enema."

I had gathered myself up and calmed down and wanted to go help with the two rinses but my sister wouldn't let me. She went back in there and stayed until they were all done. It was almost exactly three hours.

Them my daughter went into her room and got in bed. I went in and sat and rubbed her back and told her how proud I was of her for cooperating with Auntie and for being so brave for her enemas. She wouldn't even look at me. I just checked and she is asleep.

Sister said she was quiet and wouldn't talk to her or answer questions for her so they just quietly did her enemas and got them expelled and got it over with.

Susan,
Hope you are ok?
So glad your sister was there to help.
Seems everything worked out beautifully.

Hope all goes well next week with your son.

Susan,

What an amazing Auntie. And what insight she has. She knows the struggles you and daughter have with her defiance and temper tantrums. She knew enough to remove you from the scene and take care of her enemas because they have mutual respect for each other. Can Auntie possibly be involved for a while as your daughter adjusts to her routine? Don't be offended that you were removed. Remember children save their worst behavior for those they love the most because they know that they will put up with it. She was so scared when Auntie started her enemas but you know she was an angel for Auntie because that's the way kids are. Get her started on a low dose Metamucil so stool is delivered to her rectum for a daily bowel movement. No bowel movement until Monday night because her colon will take that long to deliver. Praise her and give her a day off from having to poop for you. She will adjust. My two boys went from cursing at me and hitting and kicking to now looking forward to enema night. That of course is helped immensely because they have a crush on our babysitter whom we now are boarding during the school months who gives them their enemas. They would do enemas every night if I let them have it from her. You daughter likely is never going to beg you for her enema but just know how awesome it is now from this day going forward she will never have to wear and mess in a pull up! Maybe some day at least a few more Doctor's will wake up and stop telling parents to put their adolescent or tween in pull ups and force mag citrate down their throat and then send them to school. And I know you don't want to talk about it but you admittedly don't poop every day and get backed up. You say your husband is following along so here's to husband, "hello. so your wife likes her privacy when pooping but she admits she gets constipated. You have gotten one enema in her. She needs to get some fiber or something going so she has stool to come out every day and I'm calling on you to see to it she poops every day." Sorry Susan, we challenge you because we care.

Another child rescued from withholding accidents in their pull ups! Nothing more to be said.
