Tim, that was pretty good. I love how, when the crowd was done with the song, they couldn't get back to their fast-food, fast enough. You'd think they'd stand around and chat for a bit, or at least do a group hug. You should try this, then again you'd probably end up getting arrested. Better stick to your website.

Christmas! It's a special time when believers have access to a world of lost sinners to reach them with the Good News; the gift that keeps on giving!

halleluiah!

Dear Bob, I would of been more than happy to place a PC under your tree this year, but you've been naughty, so nothing for you in 2010. Maybe next year, but only if you're a good boy.

Mrs. Claus informed me that you made a pass at her. I forgive you because you were drunk, and I can get a little flirty when bombed also. No big deal, just keep your paws off my woman!

You Bible thumpers are mean. I never had my Paws on Mrs Claus. Its a trumped up charge, its bull scat. Bombed? The Christian way is to first discredit and then layer on the Bull. Merry Xmax Xbox mismis and all that.

We hiked MRG tonight. We found the nest still warm. We did Catamount to Antelope and found much to turn in . Lucy went and was happy. The weather was frightful but the Nest was totally delightful!

I had to use my Fish Scales because some kid took my skins. Children should be illegal.

Wow, this brings us back around full circle to the reason for Christmas! Thanks once again my dear, believes he's an athiest, but really is not one, friend!

Christmas is a a celebration of the Truth that appeared to some shepherds in the middle east a little over 2030 years ago! His existance was proof that had been foretold of for centuries and was now seen in the flesh along with some angels who came to tell the shepherds that eveything was gonna be alright. Just believe it and keep doing what you know is right, take care of the sheep etc...it was the wonder and the glorious good news of it all that made them want to come and worship Him! The first worshippers of Jesus were born! They worshipped a king who would rule over them in love because he came from the God who is Love!

But, there was a purpose for His coming to earth, which was also foretold of by the prophets down through the ages, and that purpose was to die on a cross....what? this makes no sense! What kind of God was this that would send His only Son to die on a cross for the sins of all mankind? It was a perfect plan to replace the one where nobody had to die. You see, Adam and Eve had it made in the garden; they got to fellowship with God in the cool of the day; just them and God; walking and talking and felowshipping with the One who created Eden for them! They too would never have to die...But because of a little side trip to the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil while God wasn't looking they lost their place...But their place was restored when Christ came to reconcile man with God. So, now, as your new atheist friend says we can enjoy all these things on earth that God has created for us, including pizza, because of this God that we don't have to even believe in...unless....you want what they had at the beginning, which was to live forever with God!!???

Do you want this? yes or no? if no. then you can choose sin and still enjoy everything except the one thing that God alone can promise you, eternal life with Him.

Or you can choose, yes, and have it all!!!! except for the sin part...you must say goodbye to sin...it is the one thing we must sacrifice for the eternal reward.

the choice is yours!

2010 years ago...

So, by taking up the cross and following Him into eternity we are in effect making a conscious decision to put away our God-given right to free will (the right to choose wrong). We do this in exchange for the will of the Father, which is to do right!

And how do we know what's right? Most of us learned this in kindergarten, but by middle school or surely by high school we had learned how we could walk the fine line between wrong and right and still do ok; some of us even figured out how to make crime pay! But every thief eventually is caught, whether they are living in a penthouse or the jailhouse!

The Bible teaches us to repent or turn from our sins and receive forgiveness at the cross of calvary; it is the entry point for everyone who wants to avoid hell fire! Once we have traded in our old man of sin for our new man of righteousness in Christ, we can begin the amazing journey to real prosperity in every area of life! It is awesome because it is not some elite system that is only for those intelligent enough to understand it, no, it is simple enough for an eight year old to understand!

The goal is to teach every 8 year old the simplicity of the gospel so that when they are old they will not depart from it. If they miss it when they are young it is harder but it can be taught to the old ones also...one must only have the heart of a child to hear and receive the truth; if there is breath there is hope for everyone today!

If you hear God's voice today don't harden your heart, simply receive it and believe it and you can have it...it is your gift now and forevermore! the gift of Salvation is free!

No it doesn't and no I am not searching for a silly assed explanation about anything. Salvation is Free because its an idea. Being a nice person has nothing to do with anything other then the space between your ears.

If you did any shopping this year you quickly realize that nobody cares about a celebration of truth. All they want is a few days off, a visit with family and a few good meals. Perhaps a present or too. It is not a group movement to give up free will unless that is expressed by purchasing so much junk. For me it is a little down time before the New Year starts, The family card games, the big dinners and some putter time around the house generally not doing a whole lot. Going to church is the farthest thing from my mind.

The universe contains perhaps 10E23 Earth like planets. This is a difficult estimate because we really don't know the actual size of the Universe, we just understand in a few places that there are planets and that is extrapolated across the universe we know about. The Concept of a creator actively managing the accounts of all souls living in all those places puts this concept in the bin with Zeus hauling the Sun across the sky with a horse and chariot, not likely.

I think Ricky Garvis's point that Born again Christians are 99.99% Atheists is well done. Since there are 2500 plus gods invented on the earth and you Bible thumping people don't believe in all of them but one. You mostly don't believe in all gods either. So the reality Tim is that you are mostly and Atheist but just can't bring your self to admit it. Not being able to prove a supernatural being is pretty much a constant problem for every belief structure based on a "God". You can sell ideas all day but at the end of the day being a nice person as proved over and over by real men is determined by the space between your ears. Its your choice to be a good or bad person and wearing a cross around you neck doesn't make it happen.

Have a happy Holiday and put that tired text down for a bit. Get up off your butt and take a walk in the woods. This is where Salvation of the real kind exists not in the pages of that book. Its also free and available to anyone who has the energy to exploit it.
