"wanting what you have" that's good bob...But I would suggest there is something more and that would be "not wanting" for anything. If you have something already there is no need to desire to have it; it's yours to enjoy!
As the psalmist said, because "The LORD is my shepherd, I shall NOT want." Our desire should not be after things of this world, but ultimately it should be to help others see that as children of God we already have everything to enjoy, not because we have gone after it and achieved it ourselves, but because everything we need is provided to us by God in the first place.
The problems in the world are caused by people who pursue and desire things; lust after (or who don't share with those who have not) that which can never really satisfy. Success in life, money and things that bring pleasure in owning are all part of 'the blessing' that comes from God. Everyone benefits from it, but not everyone acknowleges where it comes from. Contentment is not for some future time when we reach that level of success that allows us to have everything we desire, but it is available to each of us NOW through a personal, day to day relationship with the One who came to teach us the Way to true happiness.
"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to bind up the broken hearted and to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they (us) might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that He might be glorified." - Isaiah 61:1-3
Jesus is the Way that leads to Life eternal and our relationship with Him starts in the here and NOW!
Repent and believe the gospel!
