In reply to: MikeKnight 's message, "Block Scheduling" on 20:12:37 01/07/02 Mon

At this point, I'd like to present an observation to further focus today's debate: I am only referring to Reitz block scheduling, not Signature school block.

quickly, I'd like to support Mike's # 2,3,6,7,10, and 12 arguments.

another thing is having to switch lunch groups everyday--that just bugs me. It's nice to sit with different people sometimes I guess, but sometimes not...

but on the other hand, the 8 minute passing periods are much better than last year's passing periods. I can actually take my time, go to my locker (which I don't need to do with block often), chat, clog up the hallways, finish my math homework, or "freshen up" in the bathroom.

In an ideal world, school attendence would be volutary, and there would be no "enforced" passing periods, a la sig school. But no way in hell that would work at reitz...not to be elitist or anything, but it is fact.

Overall, reitz block is retarded. Block in theory isn't that bad though. But that is non topical to today's debate.
