*S'sha stays silent during the two explanations, her grey eyes almost appearing hazel now and her stance still not hostile. She listens, until both fall silent, and then she nods. "I thank you for being honest with me," she says quietly, then with an air of faint irritation, swipes off her riding helmet and allows her hair to fall down. The woman looks no more a Weyrwoman than Kyssandra herself, save the fact that her spine is straight and she's standing at the moment. She stays silent for a moment longer, absorbing the information so candidly offered to her.

Kylith abruptly bespeaks Aosuth and Sauth. Thank you for your riders' honesty. And she says nothing more.

S'sha tilts her head, studying the pair, then nods again. "Z'yith, I understand. I cannot relate to it, but I understand." She smiles very slightly. "The thought that all dragonriders were alike, had the same life; I never considered that. I still am finding it hard to believe that a dragonrider shares anything more than a past-time and a similar link to his lifemate with other riders." She shrugs, trying to find the words to explain her own point of view. "There are so many varieties in life. There is Holder life, Hall life, Weyr life. Each has so many functions and possibilities within it." She grins. "When I lived in a Hold, I felt trapped. Nothing changes in those places! But once I Impressed, the world opened up." S'sha leans forward slightly. "Not because I Impressed a gold, either. Both of you have the exact same opportunities that I had - save the drudgery of being Weyrwoman." She focuses her gaze on Kyssandra. "Can you and your green even go between or chew 'stone yet? If not, then how would you fight, or even escape, Threadfall? I don't know of a dragon alive that can outrace the leading edge of 'Fall. What would happen, right now, if Thread fall over Herder Hall and no Weyr fought it?" The rider takes a deep breath, expelling it in a sigh. "Both of you have excellent reasons to join the Renegades. Wanting to be different, and wanting to, well, have a home." She looks at Kyssandra. "You are a dragonrider now, even if you weren't one when you became a Renegade. You have a responsibility -both of you do- to your dragons. Your dragon, Kyssandra, could die if she doesn't learn to chew 'stone and go between. There are more dangers than just 'Fall. You could die, badly injured, because your dragon was unable to get you to a healer soon enough." S'sha frowns deeply. "All of Pern suffers when a dragonrider and their dragon dies. Certainly you haven't turned your backs on the entire world?" She cocks her head questioningly. Kylith doesn't comment, though she expresses slight surprise at her rider's lack of a temper. Apparently S'sha can be diplomatic... or at least she's trying.*
