Have I offered an excuse? An excuse for what? Not believing in a book that didn't exist since the Creation? Indeed, a book that has only existed for a very short period of time, historically speaking?

I suppose that if I felt my thinking was futile, my heart might just darken a little. Generally, it is ministers and religious fanatics that cause my heart to darken. Come to think of it, didn't Pharoah WANT to release Moses, but since that didn't fit God's blood-thirsty plan, God Himself hardened Pharoah's heart? That would indicate that God choses for us whether we believe or disbeleive, and thus, but doing as God chooses for me, doesn't that mean that I, a disbeliever, am doing God's will, and will be saved for doing it well?

Athough THEY CLAIMED TO BE WISE, THEY BECAME FOOLS and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts...' (Romans 1:18-24)

Ah. Paul. I see you are not a follower of Christ, but a follower of Paul. He had a very different theology and philosophy than Christ had. Forgive me if I scoff.

Scoff it you will. That is your choice. These verses are preceded by Paul's theme for the book of Romans "the just shall live by faith." My faith is unshakable. My faith has made me free. My faith will bring me to my just reward.

And the Theme of Christ's ministry, as recorded in Matthew, Mark, and Luke, the Just shall live by good works. You know, feeding the hungry, visiting the ones in prison, et.al. Ah, but I forgot. You are a follower of Paul, not of Christ.

Lord Jesus, I pray in your name, the name which is above every name, that you will soften this hurting young man's heart.

Shouldn't you pray to Paul? That is who you keep quoting.

Lord, I pray that you will show him your love, show him your scars, show him your empty tomb.

Is he supposed to teleport me to Jerusalem? I would hope that his tomb would be empty after 2,000 years. I don't think he was mummified.

Lord, I pray that the demons which control his heart and mind will be loosed in your name.

Your word says that a faith of a mustard seed can move mountains.

I have yet to see a Christian anywhere move a mountain. I've seen some Indian mystics walk on water and levitate, though.

I have that faith. Move this mountain of deceit and blasphemy! And replace it with a thousand sites that offer praise and adoration to your name. Lord, your word also says that every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. That means EVERYONE. This young man, Marylyn Manson, Gene Simmons, EVERYONE WILL CONFESS THAT HE IS RISEN AND THAT HE IS LORD!

You must know me, or else the Gene Simmons comment was a real lucky shot. I'm not a fan of Marilyn Manson, though, but I can appreciate his motivation.

That is right. God doesn't give life half way. He likes His people to be fully alive. Half dead people look like Marilyn Manson, anyway, and we should kick the shit out of half-dead people.
