Arkham is reprinting " Rendezvous in Averoigne." So far, all I have read of his works have been from the Chaosium anthologies (which I have several), and I found his writing style to be superb. I am still not sure if I prefer Lovecraft's or Smith's, but I think Smith is more of the "awe" and "wonder" while Lovecraft is more of the "dread," and so it might be that I will find each better depending upon my mood.

What do you think of Lin Carter's mythos stories? Have you read any of them?
