The woman sighs, if you could call a slightly deeper exhale a sigh, and leans back on her heels, inspecting the lethal edges of her blades. Withdrawing two sheathed daggers, she ties them on her right hip; for her beltpouch dominates the left. Rubbing the hilt of one of them, a trace of sadness graces her eye. It was as old as she herself, a gift from her Bloodwind 'father' in her first life. He had died, and she had come from the battle with the dagger and her eye-scar. Only then does she focus her black gaze upon the sylvryn again, all emotion gone.

"He was...in the hatching cavern. I took off to seek solitude. I thought he'd be with you."

The Sentinel turns, grim eye staring blankly ahead, as if trying to find the whereabouts of her love through telepathy. In vain, of course. She could have in many of her past regenerations, but not as a human. It was pathetic.

"We will...go to battle, soon."
