• He was pretty used to the craziness that was his household and it wasn't like both of them didn't get breaks. While he was more likely to go out once a week or so at night with the boys, she was more likely to take off every once in the while in the late afternoon or early evening for shopping or dinner with her friends. It was an even trade in his mind and he liked the way things worked out. The evenings that they were all home in the apartment though had him thinking that perhaps it was time they started looking into getting an actual house instead of his apartment which was big but two kids had a lot of toys and they took up a lot of room.   • Luke pretty much just stayed away from his wife's family as best as he could just to avoid any trouble or anything of the like. Eli'd hated him since Leah started climbing out her window and onto the back of his bike and Luke was pretty sure the feelings there hadn't changed in the least over the years. A grin crossed his lips as he narrowed his eyes at his son before scooping him up into his arms and tossing him playfully into the air.   • He smiled warmly, pleased that his father had been there to help her with the food - his wife was trying but it was obvious who the cook was in the family, thank god he had inherited his father's talent. He went into the nursery first, checking on his little girl who was napping before he headed into the bedroom to change quickly into jeans and a t-shirt that proclaimed DUKE on it since college basketball was getting into full swing now before he settled back at the table and promptly began digging into the food. • Leah had a great relationship with Tyler- it was obvious he was devoted to his kids and also to his grandkids and there was many a time when Ty called her up and asked if he could come and see them- and he was always welcome. She glanced up at Luke as he returned and grinned softly, helping their son out with his food a little as she ate her own. She wasn't the best cook- and she couldn't do much of the devote housewife stuff like baking and making and decorating- but she tried her hardest and she loved her kids and her husband more than life. • The garage was his home away from home, he worked there but mostly on his own bikes and cars and occasionally helping out Jason or Jake with the different problems they came across. Luke loved going there to just chill out and unwind, work with his hands...he also liked when Leah stopped up to see him, especially when there was no one else there and they could get a little down and dirty on the garage floor. • The garage held a very special place in her heart too- even if all she knew about motors was how to start one with a key. She and Luke had a lot of memories there- most of them strickly private- although she didn't know how private they were from the guys. She grinned a touch at Luke and nodded as he said he'd take Alex with him- she had baby aqua class with Grace so that would be good. Her eyes shot open as she heard the words leave her sweet little boys mouth, staring pointedly at Luke, though the amusement was obvious in her eyes as she shook her head at him "Alex don't copy what Daddy says... thats a bad word..." He stood up, ruffling his son's dark hair as he did so before he went to go get himself another helping and grab another slice of garlic bread. A smile played on his lips as he watched her for a moment when he sat down. A smile played on his lips, taking a few big bites before he spoke again. "He would have learned it from my dad anyways." • She smiled as he told her to stay sat down, her bright eyes lingering over him appreciatively as he went to get himself seconds, the love and affection clear as day in them. It hadn;t taken long for them to get their sexual relationship back after either of the babies- he didn;t give her the oppertunity to get self conscious about her wieght and he always knew just what to do to get her in the mood- besides which they had a long history of being extremely sexually attracted to each other- even for the couple of years they had been broken up- she;d hardly been able to stay in the same room with him even then without wanting to tear his clothes of. • "Nope, no boys tonight. Adam got yelled at by his girl - so he claims - for going out twice in one week but I don't think Nattie could yell at Hitler, she's to sweet. I think he was just missing his girl and felt dumb admitting it." He grinned lightly. "...and Colden can't drink two nights in a row, he gets hangovers to bad." He shrugged a bit, smirking as he finished off his food and stood up, taking the plates to the sink and rinsing them before putting them in the dishwasher. • She lifted Alex out of his chair and held him on her hip as she followed Luke into the kitchen, wiping off her sons mouth with a cloth much to his annoyance. She laughed a little at the guys, shaking her head a little "Remember when we were his age? We used to go out drinking every night... he's slacking..." They'd had a hell of a lot of fun growing up together, all of them. She handed Alex over to his daddy with a smirk, shaking her head softly as she followed him through to the bathroom "He didn;t mention anything... I think you're mom might be going to this thing with my mom and Jordans mom though... some chippendale thing I think... but that part might be a secret." He stated with a growl to his voice, the thought of the older women going and hooting and hollering over half naked men was quite disturbing to him, to say the least. He shrugged his shoulders a little, a smile playing on his face when she spoke about Colden. "He's kind of...different, you know?" His lips pursed, shaking his head. "I think he probably could .... but he offered to watch them for us on valentines if we wanted to... which was pretty decent ... " She wasn't sure how Riley would feel about it but they;d had plenty of valentines to share together- and leah was a quite excited about it. "And I don't wanna take advantage..." "We should let Matt and Quin take them, they apperantly are running a daycare with all of Gabs kids..hell Gab's kids alone are enough to start a daycare." He grinned brightly, tipping his head to the side as he rested the boy on his lap while he started the bath tub and made it to a good, comfortable temperature. The kid loved the water, loved swimming over the summer and especially loved bath time. Alex squealed and clapped when he saw the tub filling up, squirming a touch in his daddy's lap. He stated firmly, shaking his head with a huff as if that was the silliest question he had ever heard. A smile played on his lips though as he undressed his son and pulled down his pull ups - he was getting potty trained - before setting him in the tub with a washcloth. He hunkered down on the tile, handing his son the washcloth and pointing out parts to wash - saying tummy, face, things like that and letting the boy touch the washcloth to each part - praising him enthusiastically when he got them right.
