The touch of it only succeeded in multiplying his frustration as he galloped after Daylite, staying as close as the fence would allow. Already he was assessing the height and strength of this barrier, noting with relief that it was not entirely unjumpable, though, should he chip it, results might be disasterous. Communicating with Daylite did not seem like much of an option. He could only hope that her flight instinct would soon be replaced with her fighting one. Two horses against one man...Star liked those odds.
