 I just wasn't sure Mystie and I didn't want to offend you talking about Christmas when I know your not Christian and I am not sure what you celebrate being Jewish.

We had a pretty laid back Christmas. We did Christmas morning mass with my mom and dad. My son went with me which is always my moms Christmas wish to have her kids and grandchildren with her. My mom and dad came over on Christmas eve that is when we open gifts here. Rachel and Ryan have so many places to go we always get them on Christmas eve for a few hours. Then Christmas day we had my hubbies mom over. We play cards and have members of his family come and go. This was a rough Christmas because it was our first one without my bro-in-law Tony. We wanted to keep things as normal as possible for his mom because she is 90.Tony was always here with us on Christmas so his empty chair was a downer for sure.At one point Chance (my mastiff) was sitting in the living room barking at nothing, (like in the movie Scrooged) and i had to walk over and ask him if Uncle Tony was speaking to him. lol That lightened things up alot although we had two of his daughters here with us and they had lots of tears on that day. It was good they were with family, hard as it was for them, I think it made it easier.

What did you get for Christmas? What did you get your guy? I bought my hubby a dvr security system that records 24/7. He loved that, and his toy was a remote control helecopter which he loves. hahaha he always has to have a toy although my dogs don't like that thing.He bought me a beautiful pearl ring that is vintage looking. I love it, when i look at it, it reminds me of my grandma. It went on my finger like it was made just for me. Then 2 days after Christmas I bought a new tree. I got a 12ft tree for 200 dollars. i was so thrilled about that, it was an add on gift from my hubby. Can't wait to put it up next year. lol

The kids made out like bandits, they always have the most gifts under the tree. I posted alot of my pictures on fb, I wish we could be friends, then you could see them.

Tell me what you got. Did you go out for New Years? I was in bed sound asleep by 10 pm. I needed the time off to catch up on my sleep. I am back to being slammed busy at work. I love being busy but sure could get used to being off too. :-)
