Subject: I figgered you would know about this if it was true, which, unfortunately it appears to be. I heard it was from pressure coming from the pharmacy industry and medical doctors wanting a cut of the profits and this is how they went about it. They said a $4 bottle of vit C will be marked up to more than $50 and will need a prescription.

  • Are will really "Free" in this country or do people just think they are? I had an old WW11 guy tell me, that most people think they are free because they have never lived in another country. Do you think maybe we can get Canada to sell us a nice chunk of land along the border of the Rocky Mountains that we can create our own country?? Just a thought. (NT) -- Varmit, 07:11:48 04/30/07 Mon
  • Here's another thing they trying to do to us down here...... Passed: Personal Injury Protection coverage -- mandated coverage for every auto insurance holder -- would be extended four more years under SB 1880 passed by the Senate. The House has begun moving a very different plan (HB 7215) that would get rid of PIP and instead would require $15,000 for coverage in emergency rooms and hospital-owned clinics immediately following an accident. Lawmakers have one week to negotiate a compromise (NT) -- Varmit, 11:42:36 04/30/07 Mon
