If they get the horse slaughter banned in the US, won't that just force all killers to be shipped to Mexico?
Won't the long trip make things worse than just leaving things alone and kill them this side of the border?
Don't want to sound anxious to kill a horse because I'm not. I will have one put down when he gets to where he can't get up without a struggle, just so he can avoid that kind of ending, but it's not hard to figure out they're necessary. There's just no other way.

- I've just got back from the PBR in Chihuahua, MX. It has taken me until 9:00 tonight to get my business stuff tended to. One of my customers wants me to get rid of an old race horse that never ran. Not sound. I am within 100 mi. of 2 TX slaughter plants and I can't get the horse in. I will have to work with one of the horse buyers to get him to come get the horse and he will get a free horse.     - Muchas Mexicanos, no muchas gringos. Gringos mostly bull riders, fighters & support. The venue sold out and we had to sit in the cheap seats. $250.00 pesos (=$24.00 usd) The weather was 66 @night & 88 in the heat of the day. Mountain shower every day between 5:00 & 7:00pm.       - We got 1 inch of rain from Ernesto. Had a pretty good wind blowing last night for about 4 hours as the eye passed over our area. Just glad it didn't ashore down south as a Cat. 2 or 3 with the path it ended up taking. Not much down the middle of Florida from about this area on south. Just a big ol Lake in Okeechobee and then miles of Everglades with water everywhere. So not much to stop the power of a storm when it comes from down there.
