Right On!! Like it says in the American detective shows, "Follow the money!" and in this case most of the money has gone to the Portsonachan Hotel. (For a blow-by-blow account of this see Mr Concerned's excellent article ...a very successful hotel business on the old forum.)

The proprietor of the Portsonachan Hotel is, of course, one Judith Elizabeth Parker, whose husband, David Parker had the big brass ones to turn up at the UVC Creditors' Meeting in the guise of a creditor!! This is rather like Adolf Hitler appearing as a plaintiff at the Nuremberg war-crime trials.

Lord knows what the DTI think they're up to. We've drawn them a diagram but they still don't seem to get it.
