We are having a contract with a company in which one of the agreed and signed point is "not to deal with their competitor companies", my question is what is the ruling if we deal with those competitors without their knowledge? Will the money we get from this biz will be Halal? If any Hadith is available pls quote. Jazakum Allah Khair

As Salaamu Alaikoum,

Praise be to Allah.

"They perform (their) vows and they fear a Day whose evil flies far and wide..." [Surat 76:7]

We MUST honor our contracts. Deceit is a characteristic of Shaytaan and any business dealings made in violation of your agreed upon contracts with others is void and you incurr the wrath and punishment of Allah upon yourself.
