The Prophet(saw) has forbidden us from doing this: "Do not acquire knowledge in order to compete with the scholars, nor to argue with the ignorant, nor to gain mastery over the gatherings. [Bukhari and Muslim] You should never debate Islam with the kaafir for Allah tells you in the Quran you will never be able to get them to see your way no matter how much you try so instead you tell them to they be their way and to you be yours [Surat Al Kafiroon] Too many Muslims indulge in debates with Kaafirs about Islam and 90 percent of them walk away the ones confused and filled with doubts about their way of life. As a Muslim you KNOW there are no guarantees of anything. Only Allah knows who is going to hell and who is not so why waste your time arguing this with the Kaafir? Stay away from debating this religion with kaafirs and instead spend your time building your own understanding of your religion and Imaan.
