If a women sleeps with men before marriege what can she do to ask for forgiveness from god and what type of punishment will she reviece. And if there is step that needs to be followed to ask forgiveness please i am in a need of help. :~(

As Salaamu Alaikoum,

Praise be to Allah.

Allah says he forgives all sins except Shirk. If you want to be forgiven for your sins then you must repent to Allah. The way to repent is as follow:

First you must be sincere in your repentance. This means you recognize what you did was wrong and you are sincere in desiring to give it up. You have to have regret for what you have done and be determined to never do it again.

You must be giving the sin up soley for Allah not for any other reason, and you must feel that the sin you committed was harmful.

You then pray to Allah asking him to forgive you and you promise him that you will never commit the sin again. You should also do some good deeds such as give in charity or something for Allah listens to duaa's more if we do a good deed on behalf of him first.

Also you must be persistent in your repentance.. this means just dont ask for forgiveness one time.

Only Allah knows if he will forgive you, but you must have hope that he will.

I nor anyone else can tell you what Allah will do to punish you for what you have done..again he may choose to forgive you. Just make your repentance to him and have hope that he will forgive you.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): �Say: �O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allaah, verily Allaah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. And turn in repentance and in obedience with true faith to your Lord and submit to Him�� [al-Zumar 39:53-54].
