assalam allaycum,
i have a question when islam is a perfact religion when we obey the quran and hadith why there are four imaams(abu hanifa,shafai.....) and why one should follow only one imaam.and if some one who don't have hanfi religion why he can't pray behind an imaam having hanfi religion and why it called a religion when there is islam only one religion.

Praise be to Allah.

The Prophet(saw) said, "I leave behind 2 things and if you stick to them you will never go astray, and those 2 things are the Quran and MY sunnah." [Bukahri and Muslim]

No where did the prophet(saw) say he left behind a Mathab. The greatest Imams of all times were Abu Bakr, Umar, Ali, Uthman and the sahabah.. are you saying they were not True Muslims for these 4 imams you mention were men who came after them.

Also Muhammad was the seal of the prophets.. there are no more after him so what makes you think you have to follow anyone other than he?
