Salaam alaykum wr wb.

*Resently there was someone who was not a practicing muslim the mother gave birth to a dead baby.

We felt she needed help at this time so we atended the babies funiral and tried to give dawa.

There is no sin on the baby so we make dua for him. unfortunatly the death of her baby didnt bring her back to islam;as we hoped it would.
Now we think maybe we shouldnt have atended the funiral, because there was a man there who said in the name of jesus...bla bla bla may Allah forgive us for being there that day with them...

Anyway my question is
(1)do dead babies go strate to paradise when they die?

(2)Do the angels feed them in paradise?

Could you please tell me every thing that hapens to a baby when they die? i know that they will be serving stuff to the believers in paradise.

As Saalamu Alaikoum,

Any child who dies before the age of puberty will inshallah be in paradise. The evidence for this is based on the following:

The hadeeth of Samurah (may Allaah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw the children of the Muslims and the children of the Mushrikeen with Ibraaheem (peace be upon him). Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6640.

Imaam Ahmad (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: who has any doubts that the children of the Muslims will be in Paradise?!

Imaam al-Nawawi said: the reliable Muslim scholars agreed that any Muslim child who dies will be among the people of Paradise, because he was not responsible (i.e., had not yet reached the age of account). (Sharh Muslim, 16/207).

In regards to what happens in paradise, There is no doubt that the prophet(saw) said we will eat, drink, sleep and all in Paradise. When the prophets son Ibrahim died, he said, "He will have a wet nurse in Paradise." [Bukhari]
