Hi all, I just got a chance to spend a few minutes online and wanted to drop by and say my daughter, Alayna Isabelle was born September 25 at 5lbs 9oz and 19 inches. I ended up on bedrest and eventual induction 3 weeks early due to preeclampsia, so thank God all that is over with and we are both ok. When I woke up from the cesarean, they were holding her in front of me and I thought, That can't be my baby, she's too pretty to have come from me! She is so beautiful (of course to me!) she looks like a little doll. So far I have decided to stay here in Virginia at least for the time being, I'm afraid my dad and stepmom in Tennessee may be spiltting up, so I opted to stay out of their way while things go one way or the other for them. I've ended up staying in my grandparents' house that has been empty since they passed away so I'm lucky enough to have my own space and be in a place I'm very comfortable with. Things are going considerably well with my ex, he's satisfied with the amount of time he sees her (even if it's not much at times) and does well with her when she is around. He knows I keep my distance because of all of his problems. He had a lot of trouble again around the time she was born so I stick by my decision. All in all, I think things have worked out the best they could in the situation and I love my little girl more than anything in the whole world. I really appreciate all the support I have received here, and I'll keep in touch and offer support to others when I can, or ask if I have questions. Thanks you all!
