that *IF* there was a biological relationship between Fox and/or Samantha Mulder and Jeff Spender it was because Jeff was the result of an affair between Cassandra and William; not because of the commonly assumed idea that either Fox or Samantha was the result of an illicit affair between CSM and Teena Mulder.
I base this assumption primarily on the fact that Cassandra Spender seemed to be 10 or more years younger than Teena Mulder. (When we saw them in the 90s, Cassandra looked 50ish, while Teena seemed to be well into her 60s.)Generally speaking, if a man is going to mess around with another woman, it's going to be someone *younger* than his wife, not someone older.
