He ran in breathing heavily, carrying a small sack and a dagger, sliding the dagger into his belt he let the sack drop and he himself slide to the ground with a groan, his eyes closed tightly.
His heart raced for another reason beside his quick gait, and opening his eyes he let out another sigh, this one of stricken with grief it sounded more like a Canine's bay when it lost it's mate or master.
