My installer arrived during his 2hr 12-2pm "window" to arrive and complete the work. I thought it was an appointment to start at noon and could take up to 2 hrs. Well, he ran into trouble after he arrived around 1pm, so I ended up having to stay until 2:30pm and miss more work so he could finish.

The service has been fairly reliable, although I haven't been monitoring my speeds up and down. A few times the server has had trouble and been really slow, but only once last week did I have no service at all. That is where getting virtually no documentation hurt, as it became troublesome to find who to contact without internet access.

That being said, tech support via email is spotty; sometimes good, sometimes bad. I do wish the would have more detail on what is allowed such as if I want a personal firewall router. Both BroadbandNow and US Online could improve their websites with more useful content.

Overall I've been much happier than with a dial-up, but when paying $40+ a month, my connection should never be down until the next day. I will monitor my connection speed closer and try to report my experiences later.
