T'mele entered the 'Barracks a few minutes before Meaven and Tariath did. He grinned lightly at the sound of the queen's cheerful call. T'mele hovered at the door-frame of the 'Barracks. It had been a long time, more than he cared to remember, since he had stood in someplace similar to here. He had been terrified of what Impression would bring, if he would Impress or not. But Wirrinth.. Wirrinth helped him overcome a lot. T'mele smiled again. Shy ol' Temele had changed into Weyrling Master T'mele that day. T'mele liked his 'job.' He'd had practice with his old Weyrling Master. But this was one of the first times he was doing this- on his own. T'mele cocked his head. It sounded like there were two riders talking- the only signs of awake habitation in here. Good. he thought. I won't look like a sharding idiot in here. But at least I have a reason- meeting my students. My students. T'mele thought proudly. I am ready for this. Now where's Meaven? T'mele thought, glancing out into the hallway for the Queenrider.
