The girl smiles shyly at the other. Gathering up her courage, she slowly takes the sandals from Sundrae. "Th-thank you," she stammers bashfully. Quietly, she slips off her boots and slips on the sandals. As the cool air hits her feet, she smiles in relief. "Thank you," she repeats, this time more clearly and a little louder.

Trying to hide the fact that she's shaking inside, Anneka admits, "I am a bit nervous." She blushes; this was the most she had said to anyone at once in her life. Maybe she is overcoming her shyness...
