"Ya, the first sight I ever had of a dragon was very brief--just a blue, searing some of the grass on the Hold's hights, but it was enough. I've never seen a gold up close, except," she gestures towards the Queen on the sands, "for Caylith, I believe that's her name." A smile akin to Sundrae's replaces the one that she'd donned earlier. "I guess, for me, the blue rider was my hero...though I never even found out his name." She doesn't add it, but the thought crossed her mind. Or maybe your brother was your hero... Her smile was nearly replaced by a scowl, though she tried hard not to let it through. Quickly she changes the subject back to what Sundrae was talking about. "Caught out in Threadfall, huh? Whenever Thread fell at my Hold, my parents made sure that no one so much as stepped outside until we were certain it was past. Except for the groundcrews, of course. They had to be out there during the fall." Sira represses a slight shudder at the thought. "When I was young, I'd always try to peek out the windows, trying to catch a glimpse of the queen's wing, but my mother always caught me." Quickly she stopped talking as another egg rocked, silently held her breath...then let it go when the hatchling chose another.
