Subject: Exercise

Hi....hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend..mine was alright. Anyway I just wanted to ask everyone about ideas for exercise. I would like to start a regular routine to get into better shape. I think I am pretty okay for a woman of my size but I want to be better. I do stuff now like taking the stairs as much as possible, taking brisk walks and stuff but I want to do something a bit more structured. I dont want to go to a gym, I dont think I would go very much. I have looked for a women's gym as a possibility but I havent been able to find one in Toronto! There are a couple but they are way out in the burbs...I'm in central Toronto and I am not gonna travel way out there to work out. Today I just "moved around" in my apartment, running on the spot, some jumping jacks...stuff like that. My mom has a video called The larger woman's workout, I used to do that sometimes when I lived there. I dont think she uses it anymore so maybe I'll take it when I am home this weekend. I can do that video easily, so maybe I should supplement it with other exercise too, but at least having a video would help me get into a routine. I was going to get my bike from home too but my mom said she thinks they gave it away, so much for that! I was kind of iffy about riding in Toronto anyway. So does anyone have any tips on how to get into a fitness plan that is fairly easy to stick to? I dont HATE exercising, in fact I really enjoy the feeling it gives me afterwards but since I can never get into a routine I never get to see any real long term benefits from it, well maybe some from the last year just from trying to walk fast whenever I walk, but even that isnt much. Also I wish I could work on different spots but I have heard that is virtually impossible...I dont mind my legs but I would love to make my arms somewhat smaller...but I have read you have to lose overall fat to do that, *sigh*
I also want a curvier rounder bottom and I have heard there are exercises that can achieve that somewhat, I just dont know what they are!
So tell me what your exercise problems or solutions are...all of us can probably help each other out as I'm sure we have all at least fiddled around with the idea of a "fitness plan" even if we havent really had one (like me:)
