New coach at Moseley is understood to be very unhappy at the Bevon Armitage situated.Mose will be a bottom 4 club again unless they show ambition.

And making statements which do not go together. Yes Maggs IS annoyed (not "unhappy) with Armitage but for the manner in which he had accepted another offer which is thought to be for family reasons according to the press. But to then say this reflects a lack of "ambition" from Mose just does not follow or cut it. The club has just signed Dan Sanderson for heavens sake! So whoever you are "mose man" or "moseleyman" please stop always trying to put a bigger negative spin on things which are not deserved and stop tying to pass your self off as others.

A bit of speculation over who might me going and staying (and who we might like to see staying) is pretty harmless and provides a bit of fun at this time of year. However, people speaking on other behalf e.g. psoting what Kevin Maggs thinks is perhaps less helpful.
There are 2 things that wouldn helpm both of which have been suggested by quite a few posters in the past:
1. Regsistration for the message board
2. Better communication from the coaching staff

I hadn't seen the article at the point of posting despite being back in Birmingham now (mea culpa)- and was breaking my own rule at the time of not posting after a few sherberts. Sorry to have caused offence.
I do agree that at this time of year the coaching team must be absolutely wired in to the recruitment process but in general I hope to see communication from the Coaches improved as this was not a strong area under Ian Smith's regime.

I'm guessing it's 'would' but just to be sure.

BN - while I normally enjoy your postings I trust you were not refering to mine because Maggs thinking on this is public knowledge and I was referring to that.

In Friday's Birmingham Mail, which I accept may not be readily available in Derbyshire, under the headline "Bevon's Devon switch irritates Maggs", it says -

Maggs could not hide his irritation (and then directly quotes him as saying) "I am really disappointed about it because Bevon had agreed to stay with us and was even due to come in and sign"".

Both the imposter and my postings do refer to that. It was the inference in his second sentence about the club's lack of ambition that I was really disagreeing with.

I do agree with you though about registration for the message board but do think that we do get regular news from the clubs comms team. I'd rather the coaching staff are hitting the 'phones getting the players in at this time of year and letting the comms team keep us informed!
