If u had to say why you trust a specific source amd which one it is, what would u answer?

What do u think about one of the following theories that try to explain why we trust some information, while we dont trust others....:

a) a statement is considered to be true when it makes sense/ when it is useful

b) when it does not contratict with what has already been said.


c) any other theory in order to explain why information is taken as trustworthy while others are not....
